Oakland University student, Dan Newsom, finds the appeal of his Sony behind-the-neck headphones for just that reason.
"They are simply the best for working out," he said. "The in-the-ear headphones slip out all the time when running and the ones that wrap along the top of the head are impractical to run with."
For the fast-moving lovers of music, the behind-the-neck wrap is light and out of the way. Along with that, they are affordable.
"I got my pair for like 15 bucks," Newsom said. "I've had them for over a year as well."
It appears the "street-style" headphones have been forged to unite those whom love both fitness and music. They are the best of both worlds.
If you sport this type of headphones because you do like to listen to music while you work, then perhaps you'd enjoy Workoutmusic.com to snag some new tunes for your next work out.
